Andar Bahar (also called Katti) originated in southern India and is one of the simplest casino games. The dealer draws a single "game card" (also called the joker or trump card) and places it face up in the centre. Players bet on whether the matching card (same value) will appear on the Andar (left/inside) side or the Bahar (right/outside) side.
Cards are then dealt alternately: first to Andar, then Bahar, then Andar, then Bahar, continuing until a card matching the game card's value appears. Whichever side receives the matching card wins.
